Did Patrick Clancy's Lawsuit Just Give Prosecutors a Weapon Against Lindsay?
04 nov 2026 · 00:15:58
Patrick Clancy's civil suit against Lindsay's doctors depends on proving she told them she was having thoughts of hurting her children. His lawyer said she'll testify to exactly that. Kevin Reddington says she never said it, she hasn't agreed to testify, and Patrick's attorney has no authority to promise her testimony. The doctors' defense is simple: Massachusetts law shields providers unless the patient told them, and they say she didn't. Patrick's suit needs the answer to be yes. Lindsay's own malpractice case against the same providers doesn't need it at all. If Lindsay says under oath that she warned her doctors, prosecutors can play that for the next jury. A woman who raised the alarm reads differently than a woman taken by surprise. Patrick didn't appear at his own hearing. Motta and Dreeke on why two cases may come down to one sentence.
