Elizabeth Holmes Picked THIS Name for Her Daughter as Prison Closed In

Elizabeth Holmes started an 11-year sentence in a Texas prison camp on May 30, 2023, for defrauding Theranos investors, and she left behind a baby girl named Invicta. The name is Latin for undefeated.

She had William in 2021, before her fraud trial started. By the time Invicta arrived in early 2023, the founder with the deep voice and the black turtlenecks had become a soft-spoken young mom, and her lawyers argued the judge should keep a mother of two out of prison.

Billy Evans, the father of her two children, is raising them in Austin and keeping an AI stand-in for her going while she's inside.

Psychotherapist Shavaun Scott works through it with Tony. What does a name like that reveal about a woman about to surrender? Is having two babies during a federal case strategy or denial, is Billy her prop or her co-author, and what do children born into that spotlight inherit? Her halfway house date outside Austin lands in 2027.
