The Disappearance of Tylee Ryan and JJ Vallow: Daybell Case Part 3
05 nov 2026 · 00:15:13
In September 2019, Tylee Ryan, 16, and JJ Vallow, 7, vanished from their mother's apartment in Rexburg, Idaho. Their mother, Lori Vallow, never reported them missing. Their remains were found nine months later on the property of her new husband, Chad Daybell.
Part 3 of this docu-series traces the timeline. Prosecutors said phone data placed Lori's brother, Alex Cox, on the Daybell property the mornings after each child was last seen. Lori told JJ's school, his babysitter, her friends and the police four different stories. In October, a shot was fired at Brandon Boudreaux, her niece's former husband, in Arizona, and Chad's wife Tammy reported a masked figure with a rifle in their Idaho driveway. Tammy died on October 19, 2019. Chad married Lori in Hawaii on November 5.
Tony Brueski covers the welfare check, the couple's move to Kauai, Tammy's exhumation, Alex Cox's death in December, the police declaring the children missing and endangered, Lori's arrest in February 2020, the June 9 search, and the May 2021 indictment charging both Lori and Chad with murder.
