Taco Drijfhout & Vincent Sinceretti / DFSA GOUDEN KALF EVENT 2025

The Garden of Earthly Delights by Morgan Knibbe won the Gouden Kalf for best sound design at the 2025 Netherlands Film Festival. Every year the DFSA marks that award with an evening for its members: this is the recording of that night.

Aline spoke with sound designer Vincent Sinceretti and sound recordist Taco Drijfhout about the film's soundscape: how they built it, and the technical and creative choices behind it. The enthusiasm in the room made one thing clear. There's an appetite for more sessions where technique, creativity and result come together.
